Macromedia under IE - Screen Flickers

When using IE 6.0 with Windows 98 I get an annoying screen flicker when
trying to watch news clips with the Macromedia Flash Player. If I go the the
same Macromedia window via Netscape everything is stable and works fine. I
uninstalled and reinstalled the Flash player for IE to no avail. I am also
using IE 6.0 on another PC under XP and it also works fine. Both PC's are
running using a Comcast Cable connection. The specific application I am
having problems with is Comcast's "Fan", however, other tables and such also
tend to flicker, but not as much. Any suggestions?

Try updating your video drivers and reducing hardware acceleration via
control panel, display, settings, advanced, performance.
