Macro - Stop Recording

I am new to Macros and using Excel 2002. Earlier today a toolbar with the
"Stop Recording" button appeared after I started a new macro. Now the
toolbar does NOT appear when I start a new one. How do I get it to appear
please?

Does it have something to do with the hidden PERSONAL.xls file created?
 
It does tend to vanish sometimes. Try not to kill the little toolbar when
you are done, just push the stop-record button.

To restore:

View > Toolbars > Visual Basic

and dock the resulting toolbar.
 
Right click on any toolbar are and select the "Stop Recording" toolbar if it
dissappeared.
