I am using the MACROBUTTON feature to create blocks of text in a form that
is easily replaced by the user. However, some of my blocks/instructions are
longer than a line and WORD won't allow/display them using the MACROBUTTON
trick. Is there another way to accomplish this so that word allows a
paragraph to be easily replaced?

Try inserting a "text box" form field. Then double click it and put the
"prompt" in the "Default text" field.
