I have several users who are logging into windows, then begin to have
problems with various applications regarding lack of connectivity. I've found
the folowing error in the event log:
windows cannot find the machine account, the logon attempt failed.
It looks like some of my machines are falling out of the AD domain. Is there
a cause for this? Why do my XP client machines seemingly fall out of the
domain? Usually, I can move the machine into a workgroup, then back into the
domain to correct the problem, but I need to correct the cause.
