Machine reboots itself

My machine has recently started rebooting itself several
times a day and does so regardless of the application(s)
running. After the reboot, I get the "System has
recovered from a serious error" message. Is there
somewhere I can go to find out what the "Error signature"
and/or "Error report contents" mean? Are there any
updates I can run to help isolate/eliminate the crashes?
