The MAC address is generally hard-coded into a ROM chip on the network
card. Some cards have utilities that do allow you to change the MAC
address. However I would consider such tinkering to be risky, unless
you have a good knowledge of the internal coding structure of the MAC
address and how they are generated.

Hello,

One way to find out if yours is changeable is by opening network
connections, select the network icon, configure, and I believe it is network
address.. Select the radio button, enter a new MAC address, and then exit.
Once you have done this, you can go to cmd and run ipconfig /all to see if
it took.

Also, you can change the MAC address of some cards via the registry, but you
have to get additional info from the command line. This is a bit dangerous
though.
