While searching for a good antivirus program to try out I
saw that Microsoft recommends EZ Armor from Computer
Associates for Windows.

I installed the one year free trial offer for microsoft
customers, EZ Armor from Computer Associates, two days
ago. Upon installing EZArmor and attempting to reboot as
instructed Windows XP would not load and I was forced to
use safe mode to disable the realtime virus protection
after which I could load windows. I had no other antivirus
software installed at this time. I contacted Computer
Associates via the support contact for EZ Armor and
explained the problem in detail. They replied with
instructions for removing other antivirus software
although I had specifically stated I had already done
that. After several attempts at uninstalling and
reinstalling EZ Armor I still was not able to load Windows
XP normally with realtime file protection enabled. Today
upon computer startup I was informed that my one year
subscription to EZ Armor had expired and that I must
puchase it to continue using it. Needless to say I have
uninstalled EZ Armor and I would not recommend this or any
other software from Computer Associates.
I have not found a better antivirus program than NOD32 for
ease of use, compactedness, and speed. I'm sorry I
uninstalled it to try the headache described above.
