lycos search give me all kinds of pop ups

i didn't even install this lycos thing, it just showed up
on my toolbar one day and now i constantly get pop ups
even with my yahoo pop up blocker on. I already
uninstalled the lycos search thingy but i still get the
pop ups. How do i get rid of this thing?
