Lycos and Hot bot

Why do I get redirected to Lycos or Hotbot every time I
want to visit a website? I know it's wierd ...It's like
when you type a wrong address and you get redirected to
msn search, but here eventhough I type the address
correctly I still get redirected to either Lycos or Hot
bot ...Any ideas?

Hello,

It could be adware or spyware on your computer that
redirects you to Lycos and Hotbot. I would download Ad-
Aware from Lavasoft (www.lavasoftusa.com) and run a check.
