Lucent winmodem

On the www.modem.com site I read that some V.92 modems are
crippled without V.44 compression. Can anybody tell me how
I can find out if my Lucent winmodem does or does not have
the V.44 compression which enables faster web browsing and
downloads?

I think your question has nothing to do with XP Networking. Did you try
Lucents's site?
