I got a message box from lsass.exe saying, "When trying to update a password,
this return status indicates that the value provided as the current password
is not correct." Then the system would restart itself, and re-display the
message, over and over. I'm running Windows XP Home.
Please help. Thanks in advance.

There is a very common mistake many are making to know if the file you are
referring to is "LSASS.exe" (where the first letter is actually an "L" and
the other is "ISASS.exe" where the first letter is actually and "I". Go to
the following web site and on the alphebet listing click on either "I" OR "L"
and then cursor down to ISASS.exe or LSASS.exe and you will see the
difference and it will tell you which one is a virus worm. (Actually click on
both listing to get the whole picture) I am assuming you do have a worm
virus. The web site is
http://www.answersthatwork.com.

Hope this helps.
