Morning,
Upgrading a clients xp home system. Was working fine apart from a lot of
hard drive activity due to insufficient RAM

After adding more RAM windows displays the following error at login screen.

lsass.exe system error
Security accounts manager initialization failed because of the following
error.
Error status 0xc0000001

The only option given is to shut down.
Tried safe mode - same error
Tried last know good config' - same error

I have reverted the system back to it's original RAM configuration but I
still get the same error.

I am fearing a re-install
Any help appreciated
Thanks
