Hi,

Both exe`s constantly running even at idle. When I open a desktop or
internet page, the both of them chew up GPU and slow down the computer. From
the knowledge base, I think the answer might lie with the administration and
user accounts. Somebody have a clue? Thanks much.

Hi Roy,
*=> Run a scan from here on-line:
http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx
Download Avast Cleaner from here:
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-virus-cleaner.html
Lots of tools to download and disinfect your machine:
http://www.bitdefender.co.uk/site/Downloads/browseFreeRemovalTool/
Download these tools:
"Process Explorer for Windows v10.21"
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/processexplorer.mspx
It will show you the program causing this and the running processes in the
background and you can start troubleshoot from there.

*=> Try these steps:
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.

2... And also for malwares from here:
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
http://www.safer-networking.org ; for Spybot S&D

Run disk cleanup and Defrag in safe mode then Run this Command:
sfc /scannow click [OK] and let it run, you may be asked by the windows to
insert the XP CD to repair any corrupt files/folders found.
Good luck.

Note - csrss.exe is a Win32 subsystem file and launched by the Session
Manager and lsass.exe is the "Local Security Authentication Server Process"
launched by the Logon Process when authenticating users - both required
Windows components.

Hope may be of some diagnostic help.
