Why is the volume of all my recorded cd's so low? I've
got every volume control in my computer up as far as it
will go, and the level is still so low on the cd's I have
to turn my car cd player volume all the way up to hear
the music over the wind noise at speed.

thanks, bruce

If you're refereing to CD's you've burnt, then you need to normalise the
sound.

Probably the line-out from your source is not sending a strong signal to
your line-in on the sound card. Get hold of Goldwave (
http://www.goldwave.com ) and use its filters to 'normalise' the sound.
You'll have everything at the same strong level.

Cheers,
Jerry

Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it.
