Octavio

I got today an announcement on the lower right hand corner of my desktop,
for the first time, telling me that my "Virtual Memory" is too low, but when
I clicked the icon that it was pointing to and nothing happened. I looked at
the Window's XP Glossary and it has a definition of Virtual Memory and Task
Manager, but nothing there tells me what to do.
What do I need to do about this, and how?
Tbaks in advance.

Octavio, rt click on MyComputer>Select
Prop>Advanced>Performance-Settings>Advanced>Virtual Memory-Change>Click on
Custom Size type 600 in each box and choose Set, Ok.

1) Click the Start button, click Run, then type msconfig
in the Open: text box.

2) Click the OK button to continue.
The System Configuration Utility window appears.

3) From the START UP tab, choose DISABLE ALL.

4) Click the Apply button the Close button.A window will
appear prompting you to restart the computer.

Rich, thanks for your response. Before making any changes, let me mention to
you all what I have:
My Virtul Memory (Original) Total pagin file size for all drives shows "767
MB"
Original Custom Size, Initail size: 768 MB
Maximum Size: 1536 MBRecommended Total pagin file size for all drives: 766
MB
Currently alloct4d: 767 MB
What those numbers exactly mean and How all those numbers relate to the
"600" that you mention in your message below?
Will deleting some of my files improve the situation?
