Hi,

I am running xp pro SP2. I am trying to connect to my LAN modem through a
LAN router.

Everytime I try I get an error messasge saying "there is little or no
connectivity on the network" is there a patch to overcome this problem?

Cheers

This message means that your computer is trying to automatically obtain an
address from a DHCP server and is failing. If you have a router on the
network it usually has a DHCP server and should be supplying an address to
the computer. If not you'll need to manually configure an IP address.

But in short there is no patch or update for this as it is either a genuine
error condition or a network configuration error.
