Virtual memory is space on your hard disk being used as ram. The more you
use your computer the more memory you take up. To fix this problem you can
manually adjust your memory to a larger size.

you can do this by right clicking on 'my computer' and choosing properties.
Choose the advanced tab, and the third option on the list is for virtual
memory. You can adjust this size to be larger if its causing you problems.

My labtop is set to 600 megs, and I have a base Ram size of 240. (16 megs
being used by on board video). My main computer uses 1024 Mb or 1Gb.

You may need to adjust it to suit your needs. It is suggested to make your
minimum and maximum the same to prevent fragmentation and store it on a
seperate drive. (physical drive not partition)

Thks,

A friend of mine has a laptop that was giving the same message. He had the
Sasser worm and the problem went away after removing the worm.
