Hello,

I have set NoLowDiskSpaceChecks to 1 but XP is still giving notifications.
The disk is 2Gb with 1.9Gb PF on it (fat32).

Any ideas?
TIA.

What are you talking about?

OK I should say the drive is a 2Gb partition and has the swap file on it.
Mani,

That is impossible!!!! XP probably wont even load with that little of space
on the hard drive, so who are you trying to fool? Yesterday you had a 25gb
hard drive with low disk space of 2GB????

George,

Seems you can't even understand the question.
I never said anything about XP being installed on the 2Gb drive only that it
has the swap file on it.

I never posted yesterday about any 25Gb...so get your facts right.

And why would I want to 'fool' anyone?
I'm not crazy, but you might be.

If you move your swap file to a different drive, does the problem go
away? Or try setting your swap file size to a somewhat smaller maximum size.

Mani,

Please forigve me for jumping to conclusions. I misunderstood the question.
And yes I am :-)

With all the updates and all it is an almost impossible task to
install XP on a 2 gig harddrive....And if you did get it installed you
wouldn't be able to do anything else with it.

Yes considering that even Windows 98SE machines came with more. But Mani
was talking about just the swapfile.

Hi Mani

I'd guess you must have your swap file set to Custom Size? Try setting
it a little lower -- say 1.5 Gb -- and make sure the minimum and maximum
sizes are both set to the same.

Set the max/min to 1740MB and turn off the system restore for
this partition.
