When I set up a new computer; it have a lot of transfered filess from my old one and caused the D drive to fill to capacity. I now have deleted most of the unwanted files and would like to increase the capacity of the D drive. How can I do that? Is there a way to increase the capacity or start over useing system restore?

You can make the Partition bigger by using windows disk utility (assuming
you have xp or 2000) or you can use a program called partiton magic. It'll
take free space from drive C and put it on drive D. Let me know what OS you
have

Click on Help and Support

Type in: Managing disks and volumes from the command line

You'll find information on DiskPart

or else you can buy Partition Magic [formerly PowerQuest now taken over by Symantec].

It is a GUI based application and would get you throught his much better than command line interface
