Hi. On lotus notes, there is an option called
stationary. In this option one can save emails that are
sent out daily and make minor changes and resend. Is
there any way to do this in Outlook? I have to type the
same email daily and are tired of making minor errors.
If I could just save a template someplace it would help!
Thanks.

I am familiar with Lotus Notes' stationary. I've not found same in
Outlook. One of the few things that Lotus Notes does better than Outlook.

What may work for you is to use Word as your Outlook Editor. Setup a
special template to always use for email, e.g. "email.dot".

That template can contain boiler-plate text and is inserted into each
email. Well, that's good and bad news. The good news is it's standard
text like stationary. The bad news is it is that that text goes into
all emails.

Only thing I can think of, and I've played with this for a few minutes
and it seems to work ... record the text of a document into a macro.
Store the macro in the the email.dot template (the one used for all
emails). Then when you want to insert the standard text, run the macro.
You could probably make this as sophisticated as you want by automating
the text replacement features to suite the document you produce.

Experiment.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I've been searching for a way to do the same thing and have found that creating a Template for this type of repetitive notification seems to work in Outlook 2003. Here are the steps

copy whatever it is you want to send out with each email and
paste it into a new mail message window (I've only tried this so far with rich text). You can type in the subject line if you want

click File/Save as, when the save window pops up select Outlook Template (*.oft) as the file type, name the template and save it somewhere handy

When you want to send out the notice, double click the template you created and it will open as a new message in Outlook ready to send prepopulated with the information you saved

I hope this helps.
