Can not find the exact function I used to use in Lotus 1-2-3 which is
@Regression in Excel. It is mentioned in association with the Analysis
ToolPak with its functions as advanced correlation, regression and says they
are available within the Data Analysis command on the Tools menu. Can not
even find that command on the Tools menu. Need some help for my research and
hate to use 123 again. Anyone know where to find this function within Excel
or how to access it?

What version of Excel are you using? In 2003, from the main menu bar a
the top, select Tools>Data Analysis...> and select "Regression" from th
pop up box that appears.

If you don't see "Data Analysis..." on your menu, make sure you hav
the full menu exposed by clicking the double down arrow at the botto
of the dropdown list. It is the very bottom item to select on my men
drop-down.

If I am using excel 2007and I have installed the analysis toolpak program,
can you tell me where can i find the tools menu ?

There is no Tools menu in Excel 2007.

If the Analysis ToolPak is installed, choose the Data ribbon, look on the
far right in the Analysis section, and you should see the Data Analysis
item. Click Data Analysis item on the Data ribbon, select Regression from
the list box, and click OK.
