Hi - looking for a possible solution to this problem. I
was an administrative user on my work laptop (but not the
administrator). In an attempt to connect to my home
wireless network I changed the domain network id on the
computer, rebooted and accessed my local network. My new
user profile no longer as admin access and I can't change
my domain network id back to gain access to my work
network. Any thoughts? As tomorrow is Monday I will just
engage our IT group but would like to remedy this today
to continue some work.

Regards;
Jason

Physically reconnect to the domain network, log into the PC with
the local Administrator's account, and use an account with domain
admin privileges to add the workstation back into the domain.

Alternatively, log into the PC with the local Administrator's
account and create a local account for your use.

Hi Bruce;
Unfortunately I am not the Administrator of the laptop
(and don't have administrator login information). I was
hoping there was a way to access my other profile that
does have admin rights to make the changes.

Not if that other account was a domain account. You want be able
to access it again until the machine is added back to the domain.
