lost windows password

yes,I reinstalled winxp and i cannot find my password and its not on my case.
I know I kept it,just cannot find it. do I need to call Microsoft?? GRRRR

Password or serial number? Either way there have been recent threads on
both- read them for your answers.

Your password? Why would your password be on your case? How would
Microsoft know your password?

Please post back with a better description of what you mean and someone
will help you.

Only serial number is provided on the case NOT the password.
As you have already reinstalled XP;so that time you succesfully put the
serial number during the reinstallation process.
If you have lost the serial no.sticker still you can easily retrieve that.

Download and install Belarc Advisor.

Both are free utilities to retrieve your Product Key.

I have tried on the magicbean keyfinder and I tried to active my copy,but it
wouldnt let me and I couldnt find it in belarc either. I wipe the whole drive
and reinstall windows xp,how can I have the original s/n for the reinstall??
