While trying to install SP2, I've gotten an alert that says some files from
SP1 have been changed and it wants me to put my Windows cd in to correct
this. Unfortunately I can't find the cd. Is there a way around this or can I
do this from a site?

Every PC owner should own the CD for the OS they want to run. Buy one.

I DID buy one when I BOUGHT my computer. I've moved since then and I can't
find the cd. Jeez thanks for the sarcasm.

What if the computer's owner never had a Windows XP CD to begin with?
The machine I am using at the present moment didn't even come with
recovery disks. (I am using an HP Pavilion dv8000 series. Very nice
widescreen notebook.) I had to contact HP tech support and ask for the
disks. To be fair, HP Fed-Ex'd them to me, and they arrived in two days.

You deserve worse than sarcasm.
