Lost User acct screen in XP pro

On a laptop with XP professional, on startup it lost the user login screen
and just shows the login popup for one of the users not even allowing for
other users to login. Is there a setting which we may have messed up?

Try doing a system restore to before the problem occurred. Start | All
Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore | Restore my
computer to an earlier time | Next. Choose a restore point on a date
before the problem occurred. Click next and let it restore.
