Lost the small taskbar that shows Cell functions...

Don't know what is the name of it, but is the functionality that comes up when you hit F2 onto a cell and can see the function that is specified therein. I can view the function within the cell, but I used to have this viewing capability on the top portion of the application, in the taskbar, in a separate one-line "window". Well, after installing Excel XP Pro on my new laptop, this 'functionality' is gone.

I can't figure out how to bring this back. Viewing functions within cells (w/ a F2) is annoying since the text is wrapped around and difficult to view on long functions.

Please email me the response too, as I don't usually read this newsgroup.

Thanks in advance!

What do you mean when you write:

Asked in NG, answered in NG. Does that stand for
Newsgroup?

Actually, that was in Gord's reply.

Dimitris asked for a personal email reply.

Some people either don't like doing that or can't.

(and NG does stand for newsgroup here)
