After you get into the desktop hit ctrl & escape at the same time and see
where the start menu comes up and then grab onto the lowest part of the
taskbar and expand it of after the start menu comes up click on the control
panel and correct the taskbar options in there
Do you have it set to 'auto hide?' Drag your mouse pointer to the bottom
of your screen and see if it pops up. If not, try the same to the sides and
the top.....your taskbar may have been moved. Alternately, try hitting the
Windows/Start key (this is the second key on either side of the space bar on
my keyboard). Also, try Ctrl+Esc to make it appear. If none of these
