I lost the sidebar clock and can't get it back.
Not sure what I did but it has me stumped.

Tried stopping the proceses and going into control panel per Andre;s post
but so far I have just three gadgets..

Can you not click the "+" or right click on the SideBar and select "Add
Gadgets..."?

Does this directory exist:

\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\Clock.gadget

Can you send me ([email protected]) the contents of the following
file:

\Users\<your-user-name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
Sidebar\settings.ini

(Note that 'AppData' is a hidden directory.)

Thanks Bruce, I just checked and yes the folder does exist but I pulled a
real "DUH", as I have reloaded Vista after having too many problems to deal
with.
Everything appears better now with the New Load.

I say "DUH", because the data I now have is useless in chasing down this
issue.
I do apologize but I sincerely "Thank you" for the speedy attempt to solve
the issue.
