Lost shortcuts and Outloook settings

Everytime i log in to XP, i am losing my shortcuts and my Outlook profile set
up last time i logged in. It can be set up again, but it is inparactical.
Any ideas?

As you suspect, this could well be caused by a corrupt profile.
