Yesterday I downloaded an update for Outlook 2000 and
since then have not been able to access Outlook. It
prompts for a password, but doesn't accept it. I thought
I had forgotten my password (I've been away awhile), and
so I looked for the pwl file to delete it (not knowing any
way to retrieve a password). However, when I searched for
the pwl file, nothing came up. Then I searched for pst
files and nothing came up. So, three questions:
1) does this seem like a problem due to updating outlook,
or is it really just a password issue?
2) if it's a result of the update, what do i do?
3) if it's just a password issue, how can i delete or
retrieve it, and why can't i find the pst and pwl files?
