lost product id

hi

wondering if you can help with my problem... i moved
house recently and when i was doing that i never had time
to activate my windows xp home edition. now ihave lost the
product id and cant use it.. can you help me? is there
an solution to this.

also... i have an origional copy of windows xp
professional and i cannot install this as it wont allow me
to do this until i have activated wimdows xp home edition.


i would realy appreciate any help... thank you

Get AIDA32 or Magic Jellybean Finder, either program will
show you the product key used for the install.

You put the PID in when you *install* Windows. You shouldn't need it when
you activate, unless you're choosing to change it at that point.

So what, exactly, is the problem?
