Lost Password

I have had my Laptop in storage for the last couple of
months. I use it for seasonal work, which is starting up
again. The problem is, I can not remember the password,
even with the hint. In all that I am reading for my
problem, is sounds as if I need to re-install XP and all
the programs. Is this correct, or is there some sort of
utility I might be able to run to reset the password. (I
kind of already know the answer, I am just - hoping!)

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:
