Lost Outlook info and can't bring it back

I had outlook 2000 running and through changing Windows
2000 users set up I lost all of my e-mails and addresses.
How can I find out if my data is still in the computer and
how do I bring it back if it is. If the data is lost, I
still have it stored from my old outlook express, which I
had brought into outlook 2000 without problems, but this
time I tried it again using import and it woul not work
for me. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Look for a .PST file on your hard drive. You might have to enable hidden
files.

Moving messages from OE to OL works best by exporting them from OE.
