Hello,

I recently used the "detect and repair" function to
attempt to fix a problem with my MS Outlook. I did not
think about the program emptying my "inbox" and deleting
the E-mails. Is this data saved anywhere that can be
recovered or reinstalled? (I did not archive anything
currently active in the inbox.) I have Norton Utilities
managing my "recycled" bin but could not locate anything
pertinent with searches for recently deleted files. Any
help would be much appreciated...

Thanks!!!

Your .pst file has all of your information. Locate the In-box Repair Tool
(scanpst.exe) and run it against the file.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Rainma asked:
