I have asked a question twice over the past two days, and the messages are
not reaching the site - have I been banned from asking for help?

Your post (Automatic loading of Windows updates) is still
here and it attracted one reply. Why should you be blacklisted?

You posted two questions relating to Windows Update over the
last 24 hours which show up just fine on Comcast's news server
as well as Microsoft's.

Here's what shows up when searching Google Groups:

Good luck

Also 2 replies are showing for the June 23rd post "Windows Update"

I had something similar to that happen to Me also. I had to click on View
/ Current View / Show Downloaded Messages. The messages mysteriously
returned.

I have to say they might be showing on your computer, but they arent on
mine. I have no idea why, but someone else said they had the same problem.
My older messages from a few months ago are there, and the lost message one,
but the Windows updates are definitely not there.

1. OE View > Current view: Show all messages (checked?).

I am sorry - I have used a ng here several times and had success.

My two questions still do not appear in this format. Somebody else had the
same problem.

Judy, if you are talking about the messages "Windows Update" of June 23, and
"Automatic Loading of WIndows Updates" of June 24, they are both here in the
newsgroup. I see that you're using Outlook Express. If others of us can see
your messages, but you can't, clearly the problem is somewhere in your
Outlook Express settings. For example, what do you have selected under View
| Current View?

Somebody else
had the same problem.

Sure. I've seen many other people have the same problem. Their answer likely
has to do with their newsreader settings too.

Blame your newsserver (supernews).

I have not changed any newsreader settings. I can see the "lost message"
question, but not the "Automatic Loading of Windows" questions.
I have got the messages sorted alphabetically under the senders name, and I
assure you I only have the one message there. My settings are View-Current
View-Show all messages.
Meanwhile the original question has been fixed. I'm just annoyed that
everyone seems to think its my mistake.

This message from PA Bear, who has been very helpful in the past has got me
bamboozled

I dont know what that is supposed to mean.
