Lost menu option

IE6 XP Pro SP2

Lost the 'File' option on the main (top) menu bar (i.e. now only
edit/view/favs/tools/help)

Any easy way to restore it ?

If it also missing in Explorer, then try this:

Open Regedit and go here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\
Remove "NoFileMenu" or change the value from 1 to 0
