Lost media player

I have lost media player. Can it be deleted in error? How can I get it back?
Also, get msg. that I cannot connect with the internet???
Also, cannot use 'internet options' msg. says 'This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer'.
As you can tell, I am a complete novice.
 
You can get the media player
click on c:--program files---media player and copy the icon from there
And for your internet problem.Please let me know that who is service provider(isp)and who you connect to internet.And let me know its a dsl or dialup
 
If you can't find it, and you see you accidently deleted it, go to this
site, and get the new version fresh.
