lost inbox messages when upgrading from 2000 to 2002

i upgraded outlook from 2000 to 2002 as part of the ActiveSync installation
with a new PDA. all messages in my inbox (the only messages i had at the
time) are gone. does anyone know if i can get them back?

Configure Outlook to use the same data file as it was before. The file you
need to look for is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
