Hi All,

i recently reinstalled a new operating system on my laptop and deleted 3
logical drives holding 18 gig of space during installation. The problem now
is that when i boot up and go into my computer i can only see the c: with 5
gig of space and nothing else. The laptop has a harddrive capacity of 25 gig.

How can i get to the remaining 18 gig and configure another drive with the
remaining space.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably know, and you're just baiting.
Okay, I'll bite. Try removing the extended partition.

Hi Peter,

Click start/run, type diskmgmt.msc and click ok. You should see free space
indicated on the drive from the deleted partitions. Right click it to begin
creating a new partition, after creating and formatting the volumes you will
have regained the use of the space.

Right Click My Computer | Manage | Storage | Disk Management.
