I bought a Toshiba Satellite 2405 with Windows Xp. Along with this was
Microsoft Front Page. Recently I did a restore and now all I have is an empty
folder for Frontpage....it says it is version 3.0. I have tried at the vendor
that I bought the computer and am not getting much help. How do I get Front
Page back with out having to buy a new copy??? I am sure I registered my copy
of XP on-line. Your help will be greatly appreciated as I now have a website
up and running that I can no longer modify.

The 3.0 folder is not actually FrontPage, it's a folder that gets installed
with the O/S.

If you have the FrontPage cd, you need to reinstall it.

Was Front Page ever offered as a part of XP or as a package with a new
computer. I ask because I only have the restore disk the vendor provided me
with. I do not have a disk for Front Page itself.....however I can only
assume that there must have been some sort of liscense for the FrontPage that
was on my computer or else it would not have been there.......I hope. Again
thanks for your help.

Your vendor must have supplied you with the Front Page restore media. If
not, you are out of luck and need to buy the full version.

Frontpage being offered as a package with a new computer would depend on the
computer manufacturer.
It does not (nor ever has) come with Windows (the operating system) however.
