Lost Files

Does anyone know how to recover files that were hidden.
I have files on a zip disk and the hard drive that I did
not delete so I'm assuming they are hidden somewhere on
my hard drive. These files are very important...Help
Please.
 
Open explorer, tools, folder options, views and select to show all hidden
files and folders

Note that in most cases, you never accidentally set files to 'hidden'. If
you don't remember explicitly doing this, htey probably aren't hidden.

A fast way to find all the files set to hidden is to go to a command prompt
(start, run, cmd) and type this:

dir c:\ /s /ah
then press enter. This will show all the files on C and in its
subdirectories (/s) that have the hidden attribute set (/ah).

You may actually need a data recovery program, like Easy Recovery Pro.
