Lost Favorites

I have lost all my Favorites. But the buttons are still
there. When I click on them only the "Add" & "Organize"
drop down shows up.
My Favorites folders are in the right directrories and
all of my Favorities are in the folders.
How do I fix this??

Which type of Windows do you have, and where are the Favorites? I'm
sure I've seen a couple of messages from XP users indicating that
their Favorites have moved to the area used by an earlier OS.

Another thing you might look at: Right-click your Favorites folder to
see if it is designated hidden and, if so, uncheck that option,
applying and okaying your way out. If nothing in the primary Favorites
file, try the subfolder for one of the categories. It isn't uncommon
for people to designate their Links file as hidden, so perhaps this
designation has somehow become applied to the others.
