Lost fat 32 partition access in XP Pro

Had primary disk partitioned and working fine as follows:
18 GB, NTFS, Primary partition C:, XP Pro os.
18 GB, Fat 32, Extended partition D: general storage
9 GB unallocated

Loaded "One Note"
Lost access to D:
System only recognizes the 18 GB NTFS
Doesn't recognize the existance of the 18 GB Fat 32
partition.
Diskpart shows disk "0" at 36 GB, C: at 18 GB and 9 GB
unallocated

Am not familiar with One Note or its problems, perhaps

this would be a better question for their forums. Have
you tried going back to a restore point created before the
install?
