Describe exactly how you tried this import.

I set up a new identity in ol6. An old user-not me was listed as primary on
the outlook and was showing up on certain emails. I deleted that user , went
into OL6 and followed the prompts on how to import-where from etc. Like I
said,I don't know that much and just did what it said. They were never seen
again

There is no such application as OL6. There is Office Outlook, versions 97,
98, 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007, and Outlook Express V5 and V6. The latter
are part of Internet Explorer (r WIndows, depending on whose making the
statement), This is a forum for Office Outlook. As Outlook Express
questions in

It is outlook office 2000.for some reason I thought the woman at micosoft
said it was version 6. my error.

What you've described in prior messages seems to describe Outlook Express.
Outlook doesn't have indentities If I remember correctly, deleting an
identity in Outlook Express deletes the messages associated with that
identity.
