02/01/2005 After adding my profile to another pc, I checked my email and
thought all was well. However, when I returned to my normal pc, I found that
I am missing email from my inbox. All old email that was on my normal pc is
now missing. In short, email dated earlier than 1:13 PM is missing. If
anyone's got any ideas as to how I might be able to recover my email, I'd be
very grateful.

Thanks in advance,
Ben

For POP3 messages that are downloaded to the client are removed from the
server. If you need to download the message on 2 or more machines you must
configure your account setup to leave a copy on the server.

I can think of a couple of scenarios that may produce something that might
appear to be what you see, but I need more information. What version of
Outlook on each machine? What type of account? Do you leave messages on
the server for either account?

In general, there's no way as account on one machine can possibly affect
another that's not connecetd by a network and sharing some files, but if one
account is an IMAP account and the other a POP account referencing the same
message store, it may appear as you see.
