lost e-mails

HELP! I went on vacation and came back to work to find that a multitude of
folders in with emails are nowhere to be found in Windows Mail. Is there any
way to find them or get back them back?

You can search for *.eml and see what you find. See also www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx for background.

Try running the various database repair functions in
the WMUtil program: http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil

If still no improvement, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail
It will automatically import all your WM data.
