Last night I upgraded to Windows XP. I have just discovere that I have
lost all my "drafts" in Outlook Express. I post on a newsgroup called
alt.christnet.christianliving and used the Drafts to store quite a bit
of information (sort of used it like a documents folder). I have spend
literally 100 of hours accumalting information, edits, searches, etc.
with the material ALL in my Outlook Express newsgroups drafts. I
thought the posts had .pst and did a search but came up with nothing.

Once this happened to me before out of the blue and I could find those
files with the freebie program PC Inspector File Recovery, but the lost
file it's creating AFTER Windows XP is HUGE and it will take over 90
minutes to download everything "lost."

Can anybody help me?

You should know that God helps those that help themselves. At less
than a dime a disc, backups are a must. If and when you get it back -
MAKE BACKUPS!!

What makes you think I believe in God? Because I post at
alt.christnet.christianlife? I could be a raging anti-Christ ha ha ha
Anyway, I DO believe in God but am no fundamentalist. I WILL take
your advice though..... :) Almost all of the drafts WERE about
biblical issues. I was planning to use all my researched information
for a booklet. Oh, well, the way I'm going to look at it if I can't
retrieve the material is that I was never supposed to make into a
booklet. Hopefully, I can get it back, however. If the brains (and I
DO believe they are very smart people) at MS would not have given the
extention the same as AutoCad I'd be in tip top shape now.

Also, I'm beginning to realize that I probably made a BIG mistake ever
getting XP.

Alright, I JUST got ALL my "stuff" back. Thank you for your advice. It
was definitely good advice. One gets lazy, doesn't't one? lol I'm
clicking my heels right about now...
