I compiled a 10 page document, went to print, it was too
light in color so I stopped the print to reset my color
font. Printed one page to check before I printed the
entire document then saved it on disk instead of hard
drive. Now, it won't open from the disk. Disk may be
bad but I feel it is still in here somewhere. Please
help. Tell me how to retrieve, where to look. Thanks to
anyone who can help!

Copy the file back to your hard drive and try opening it there.

If you are able to see the file on the floppy, try copying it back to the
hard drive. Open and then print.

Reason: When you open a file with some versions of Word (and perhaps other
word processors too), it creates a temporary file that is a duplicate of
the original in that same folder. If the file is very large, it's possible
there is not enough room on the floppy disk for this to happen.

hello kandie. im 35(jk), well anyways, just a thought,
check the protection slot on the floppy to see if it isnt
locked (there is unlock and locked) its on the corner of
the floppy. Another thing ive noticed is that you cant
open Mac documents on a PC. it shows me the message " do
you want to format this disk for use". hopefully it
helps.
