lost document

Help!!! I just accidentally closed a file on a document I had been working on
all night and failed to save.....is there any way to retrieve it? i know its
in here somewhere

You'll be lucky to find it, if the file hadn't been saved at least once.
What kind of document was it? Try a search in Windows Explorer for:
