Hi all,

I was install a new software on my machine (from ATOMS
film) and the "Search for it" bar was install at the same
time.

I uninstalled it and ran PCCLIN ( Trens Micro ) after and
I got nothing.

However, everytime that I type a web site and I press
CTRL+ENTER it forward everything to the SearchForIt web
site and it piss me off...

How can I reset the CTRL+ENTER functionality? I searched
the registry without any success for that.

I emailed them (SearchForIT), but they never answered
back.

TIA
Patrick

I also have this same problem. Used all the spyware
removers I could find. Any luck. I am desperately needing
a sollution.

This restored the CTRL+ENTER functionality for me.

Using Regedit, browse to the following registry key and
make sure the noted setting is correct:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Explorer\AutoComplete]

"Append Completion"="yes"

You will also see the following values:

"Use AutoComplete"="yes"

"AutoSuggest"="no"

Don,

I found a fix. there are entries in the registry with
repalcesearch.dll. search for them and remove the entries.
I found two. also after you remove the entries in the
registry go to c:\windows\system32 and find the same dll
and delete it. I rebooted and THANK THE LORD it worked.
